As you can see, our main menu screen has a 360 image of the Basement 2 locker area with a horror filter on it. The menu presents itself in a 6 degree of freedom space that we can walk around. The buttons are also interactable from rays that emit forward from our controllers which are tracked using the cameras on the front of the Meta Quest 3.
We also have NPCs you can walk around and interact with. The flashlight was ported to becoming a 6 degree of freedom flashlight that the user has to physically go to pick up and use. They use it by physically moving their hand just like they would with a real flashlight.
The NPCs have an external large language model from OpenAI plugged into them, to further give them life
