Character Developement
Blog: Create at least 2 characters that could exist as agents in Project 2. Consider appearance, history, relationships, customs, habitat, locomotion, sensory systems, behavior.
Basement 2 is a social anxiety simulator based in the 2nd basement floor of my college's campus. We believe the abstracted agent elements from that experience are students, professors, and the social anxiety.
The student agents will be 3D scans of our friends with their personalities system prompted into LLMs that will operate the personalities. So their history, customs, and behavior will be according to the system prompt we tailor make to each of our friends. The student relationships with the player are part of the game-play. As in, one of the core game-play goals are to nurture relationships with students to gain more allies against the player's social anxiety.
The professor agents will also be 3D scans of our professors with their personalities and professional background prompted into their LLM system prompts. A secondary objective of the game is to nurture professional relationships with professors as an abstraction of the entire academic curriculum. Building an entire class schedule game-play element would be too complicated, and at the core of school is interactions with professors.
Since social anxiety is a concept and feeling, we decided to represent it in the game with a monster that roams the hallways that makes the player fear walking around the hallways. We believe that is one of the main ways social anxiety manifests at school.
